I'm going to leave the race report to Dug, but the Infirmary Mound Cross race was a blast. Super fast and flowy with a section that rocketed you thru turns like a ski slope. Big thanks to Sherri for screaming(and disorienting some of the competition) and for taking pix. The cap city folks did a great job organizing and designing this course, and we were glad to share it as ovcx'ers.
that last turn was super fast,soo many cool sections on this race course. that face is what my people call a shana punim....okay, no its not.

Comparing the photos of each Rogue, I have to say that Segal has the best/worst/best pain face of them all. Mr. Blackwell might be hiding something under the 'stache, but I doubt it.

There's actually a picture of me smiling going up a hill, but it was too creepy so I booted it. It looked like I was going to poop the saddle. No "code browns" during the race.
oh man! I've heard it was a great course this year ... bummed now that I opted out.
No one can match Segal's race face. It's a constant. Like the earth turns on its axis - that is Segal's race face. These are the days of Love the Pain.
soap opera that it is, yes indeed. sorry to hear about your crash....if you'd have done that on a cross bike it would have been funny. not so much on the road bike. heal fast. who's doing whose hair now? is Claudia on doo-detail? hats? do tell.
pre-warning-storm the greens is going to be a huge party. before during and after...now where can I get a basket for my bike???????
I'll make my place available for showers if anyone wants/needs that weekend. It's fairly close and the Rogue winners can't show up to awards muddy!
