The signs are all around us that the season has changed. Its Derby week, so Dougs enjoying morning pleasures on the backside(according to his email, hopefully at the track), I'm digging around for my julep recipe, the short track series is almost upon us and the arguements about whether the trails are rideable are fading away, but at my house the best sign of spring is the highly anticipated email from Father Cross(mr bobrow, esq)

Time to dust of the little redline and do barrier drills in the yard, if only to amuse the dog.

Now kid A and I have a "purpose" for dodging responsibility and riding. He's just trying to get his moves down and clearly I'm just attempting to be a good dad. While riding my cross bike....a lot.
