CHAMPIONS DOG RUN FENCE RELOCATION SCHEDULE
As noted in the October Newsletter, the front section of the Champions Dog Run will be relocated so that it does not "hang over" the boundary line between the portion of the property operated by Metro Parks and the portion operated by the Louisville Water Company (LWC). LWC has contacted us and told us Phase I, which will include relocation of the front fence section and dog run entrance, will begin on Wednesday, October 20 and should take about two days to complete. To prepare for this we have made out the following timeline. Please review carefully.
Sunday, October 17 - LDRA gate materials and signage will be removed.
Wednesday, October 20 - LWC contractors to begin fence relocation work.
Friday, October 22 - Estimated date of completion.
Saturday, October 23 - Cross country event at Champions Park so the dog run was going to be closed anyways.
Sunday, October 24 - Gate materials and signage to be reinstalled.

I still can not believe l'ville actually has a dog park association/club. Is the dog park scene that big down there? Does it make the 502 more progressive and hip or just pretentious?
Maybe it is like the trolley boondoggle in cincy and "a reason the best and brighest will come live and work here" uh, yeah, a street car that goes six blocks makes it WAY better than Denver, Portland, and Dallas.
I had a good time this morning at RRCC saying things like, "Yeah, I'm going to need you to move that fence back about 20 feet." Doesn't feel too good does it?
