Derby Festival Mini Marathon Tomorrow

I thought a little JSBX would be motivational as so many of us will be shuffling around the downtownish parts of Las Ville in the morning. I know @mynameiswilson, fallgirl, misserseiler, DUG, and myself are running as are Mrs Pope, Mrs Dr Grynwald and Zachael. Should be a rogueishly good morning.

So with the new/old job running full force there wont be too much traveling around. The local mtb race scene is filled with cool options tho. Decision time.

Short Track Updates and General Hi-Larity

Like old friends, I thought I'd gather us all back together here for a bit. As many of you know we've had an "interesting" first qtr around here. Getting laid-off and re-hired by the brothers J, traveling and training (for work...sad face) has left precious little time for my favorite topic......

Short.
Track.
Racing.

It always inspires me to see people that fit and that fast. Watching folks like crowd and rogue favorite Georgia Gould tear it up makes you want to furly(sometimes) and definitely gets the juices flowing around putting on our favorite race series. In spite of all the crazy negative shit swirling around, or possibly because of it, I was able to hunker down w Seiler and senor czerwonka for some conspiratorial planning(and drinking). somehow it'll all come together, likely at the last minute. As for my training on the bike? Hmmmm

Everybody knows that this year short track is presented jointly between Rogue Racing Project and Bob's Redmill, krekt? Good to be working with them, as we have a close relationship btw the two teams(bordering on a restraining order for one mr neviiteaux, who will remain nameless...or first-nameless)

So back to all things fast and dirty. Did I mention that this year we are partnering with Stomach of Anger for Short Track T-shirts. What? Short Track Shirts? 3 other words, right? Check their site, they are the bomb and Im not even kidding. Any business based on inside cycling jokes has got to be a player on this team. Plus we got to hang w them at Barry-Roubaix and they are good folks. Go buy something from them while you're waiting to see what they come up with for us....Im betting it'll be summed up w some familiar verbage....btw 2 and 4 words, prolly.

What else do I have for you? Hopefully a freaking draught to dry out Eva Bandman so we can get to racing and training. It'll all happen, tho patience is not my greatest virtue(nor is silence). I've talked to a lot of the usual suspects and have a few locked ini to help out. Bobrow will again run the kid races(he's an odds on favorite to win at least 3).

Shit, I promised hi-larity. I got nothing. Definitely not the passover joke I was told yesterday, even tho it did make my kids laugh. Kind of a small audience.
